What you need to know about Peonies!
Summer is just around the corner — and we can’t wait!
We’re so excited to see all the vibrant colours and wonderful garden arrangements Saskatoon has to offer.
One of our favourite flowers to showcase is the peony! It’s an easy-to-grow perennial that only looks better with age — what’s not to love?
This gorgeous flower comes in a variety of colours and blooms during May & June. Depending on the variety of your peony, as well as it’s growing conditions, support is recommended when the flowers are in bloom. These perennials make for a gorgeous walkway plant or a great accent to your greenery.
Peonies are fairly low maintenance, they prefer full sun, well-drained organic-rich soil and good air circulation. Lucky for us, peonies even relish cold winters because the buds require chilling for their formation.
Peonies are also a great investment, once they’re established they can last up to 100 years!

Sanitizing debit / credit card machines after every use
Sanitizing all door handles multiple times a day
Keeping waffle / pancakes toppings in the back (servers will put on requested toppings from the kitchen)
Public health experts say it's safe to dine out as long as you take appropriate precautions, such as frequently cleaning your hands with soap or hand sanitizer and keeping your distance from other people.
