Saskatoon Cornbread Dinner Ring

Spring is so close we can taste it with this saskatoon cornbread recipe!

Recipe:
- 1 cup Saskatoon berries
- 1 tablespoon white sugar
- 1 package corn muffin mix (11oz)
- 4 cups hot creamed leftover chicken or ham
Directions:
- Reserving ¼ c, mix saskatoons with sugar
- Prepare the batter according to package instructions
- Stir only until moistened
- Pour batter into well greased 6 cup ring mold
- Bake in 425° oven for 25-30 minutes
- Turn onto a warm serving platter and fill center with hot creamed chicken or ham
- Garnish with reserved ¼ c of Saskatoons.
