Friday Flower Feature - Ivy Geranium

This week's Friday Flower Feature is the beautiful Ivy Geranium. With its wide array of colours and shapes, Ivy Geranium is beautiful in garden boxes and large pot arrangements. It is easy to care for and blooms continually throughout the summer making it a beautiful addition to any garden!
When planting your Ivy Geranium, locate them in a well-draining garden bed that receives full sunshine for most of the day but light shade in the afternoon. Ivy Geranium is relatively easy to care for if you maintain proper watering, you must water them consistently with moderate soil moisture levels preferred.
Water your plants once or twice each week and cut off old flowers as soon as they wilt to encourage more blooms. During its active growing months, fertilize every two weeks using a water soluble fertilizer at half strength. The flowers are self-cleaning so deadheading is not needed as part of care for them.
